I was in Sault st Marie last weekend and had a chance to play at top hat billiards for the first time, they have i think 11 diamond professionals there to play on.
I got the chance to play on them for half the night on sunday, are there any other places in ont that have them? somewhere near the gta?

Le Spot on Shepard past McCowan has ONE... the standard here seems to be GCs vs Diamonds.

There's 1 9' diamond at Rack N roll billiards in Sarnia ontario and 6 7' diamonds along with 9 9' black crowns and 3 7' valley tables. Of course, that's 3 hours west of gta but it's still in Ontario. Plus, they have players that will play. Just call ahead...

Sweet thanks guys, ive been to le spot once before but didnt notice it there, next time im heading south ill have to check out rack n roll, I love going to new pool rooms

They don't brag about it...]

Those pics were taken a long time ago... the place and the ownership has changed quite a bit... my wife and I play in CPA leagues there 2-3 times a week.

The Diamond (actually the only table with blue felt) is the first table on your left when you come in. It usually has a 'reserved' sign on it and they tend to try to keep it pristine for the heavy hitters like John Morra and his Dad, Mario or Alex Pagulayan when they visit.

Just for the heck of it, here's a pic of my wife Ortelia with Alex standing at the table in question.

Hey johnnydub, what is the exact address for Top Hat Billiards? What was the hourly rate for 1 person? If I go up there one day I wouldn't mind checking that place out

haha - is that Ryan in the background looking all confused?
