Diamonds deep pockets

I had a Diamond 8 ft. It sure wasn’t like this and a GC 4 that played great. I’m posting pocket pictures. This table will rob you of made shots constantly. I don’t know if it’s a new standard or what. I’ve probably got the only new Diamond 9 ft pro am in several miles so I can’t compare. I’m thinking a design mistake. Sure hope some can shed some light on this situation. Have no idea why one pic is blue. It’s gray too. Thanks a lot.

Looks normal to me. If you're hitting the ball with any pace and rubbing the rail heading to the pocket, any good table will hang that ball up. Learn to play pocket speed and most will drop.

It only gets worse as the cloth gets worn.

I love my 9' Diamond!

I was going to say the same. I was cussing my table last night for the same issues. On a pro cut with aging cloth there is no room for error when you are coming in from a rail. Like Rexus stated, pocket speed is your best bet.

Totally agree. Those with DDS are hooked on balls going in that maybe shouldn't. They just assume if its different from their pet GC it must be bad. Look, i like both D's and GC's but there is a difference in how they play. The adjustments aren't a big deal. Well to some i guess they're monumental. ;)

Whoa, whoa, whoa there Ace, I have a GC that doesn't have buckets that swallow up anything that comes close. No hitting the rail 3 diamonds from the pocket and watching a ball fall. I can always tell who plays on Valleys at tournaments, they rattle ball that they hit at warp speed and think they were robbed. :):)
