The table was completely unassembled when I brought it to Steve's house. I reassembled it from ground up, I reassembled it, modified the cross members to accept a 3 piece slate, and put the whole table back together in the room it was going into.

No, this 9ft ProAm can be unassembled, moved and reassembled again, Shanes...is STAYING there period, so he better keep playing pool!!!:D

I think the ProAm's are the best built tables in the world, they have the best and fastest ball returns, they have the best rails, pockets, leveling system built right in. I mean, why would anyone want anything else:D So, by installing a 9ft ProAm with a 3 piece slate in it, it opens the doors to anyone that has wanted one, but didn't think they could get one in their house...now you CAN!;)

Glen

Taking apart a table is a tedious job, but always the best way to move these monsters.

Well done! I'm hoping to have to do it soon with a 9' slater myself! :D

thanks for the pictures as usual!
I wonder how do you level such a frame? It does not have screw-on legs like some Brunswicks or Dynamic tables. Sticking smth like playing cards under the legs?

No, Diamond has a unique leveling system built right into the legs that allows you to level the frame of the table with a 3/4" wrench:D

Another great post...

Glen...
I can't speak to the "Cobra" part, but when it comes to tables, installations, instruction, and advice...You are the "King". Another great post.:)
