Diamonds in Japan

I have heard it said that there aren't any Diamond pool tables in Japan.

Can anybody tell what kinds these are? The pics are from a club in Yokohama.

Look like the older Diamonds, or maybe the pre-diamond name Diamonds.

A 3rd option would be "Diamond Knock-offs" made by some Asian company, if there is such a thing.

Maybe whoever said that there were no Diamonds in Japan meant the new style ones?

I'd like to know what that little cloth thing is in the middle, looks too small to be a break patch and has a handle thing on top.

I thing you are right about it being a break cloth, but I this those are be chalks on le top.

If it's a break patch, not being used much, the table has a bunch of wear marks.

There are Diamonds in Japan, but they are so rare, you could probably just consider them non-existant. I'v only seen 1 Diamond table in Japan and I've been all over. Theres probably 200 Gold crowns and 200 Asian made tables for every Diamond out there.
