“Dick” Helmstetter who passed away on July 25, 2024. Dick was the founder of Adams cues and spent many years in Japan manufacturing cues under the Adam brand. Dick went on to invent the Callaway Big Bertha driver, and worked for over three decades for the Callaway golf company. His contributions to golf and to the Pool Cue community were legendary.
Sorry to hear this. I worked side by side with Dick and Craig Petersen at National Billiard & Chalk in 68. It was located on Fulton st. in Chicago. R.I.P.
