...that its been almost three full days and still no "How Did I Screw This Up" threads from Dr.CuesProtege??

I wonder if he's ok. Or maybe he just started getting out of racks and didn't need any of us anymore. ;)

Havnt seen much of Pool Sleuth either. Maybe we should have kept our mouths shut, we might have jinxed ourselves.
 
I think that they jumped a Greyhound to the east coast to take care of you two! lol :p
 
DCP I can't say. Bruce / poolsleuth said he is going to take a break from us for a while.

I gotta admit thoguh, there's a part of me that misses DCP. He made me feel like a better player because it seemed like he couldn't get out of ANY racks whereas I string a couple together from time to time. :D

I presume that DCP is taking a self-imposed one or two week vacation from playing pool. I think it will do him a lot of good to take some time off, as he is putting too much pressure on himself.
 
Yeah, I noticed too. The last thread that he started sounded like he was trying to turn over a new leaf, and toughen up his mental approach to pool:

That could explain his absense. I say, way to go, DCP. I just hope that he sticks around and keeps starting some threads (but with a more positive attitude), because a lot of them have been interesting.
 
i have a horrendous toothache. thats why i am pretty much not doing anything. regular dentist wasnt around yesterday, had to call all over to find one. then all he did was tell me about all my problems, and give me some medication. guess thats better than nothing. so, just dont really feel like doing much of anything right now.

however, i did go down to my table last night, and in spite of feeling really bad, sick, cold, tired, weak, etc, i managed to run a handful of racks. on some breaks with nothing down or no shot i just took BIH, and managed to clear some of those tables off too. actually, i played really well last night considering all the suffering.

p.s. glad some people were thinking about me - hope it was for the right reason..........
