I just looked at the winners brackets for the finals and Johnny Archers name came up twice with a score that can only be half read and that looks like 13/4....anybody know>>>>,........mike

I spent the day at turning stone and Morra was amasing but I had to leave before the final match. I thought the bracket said Archer won?
 
Ya, Archer won 13-4 :( I was cheering for Morra, he's my buddy and not only an amazing player but a world class individual. All his freinds and suporters here in Ontario are so proud of him!!!

Congratulations to the SCORPION ! Morra ain't got enough milk to sustain it ! guess the jitter bug got to him ! better luck next time and drink more milk !!! :D
 
Congratulations to Johnny on his victory! It seems, based on his results so far this year, that he's on top of his game. Does anybody know if he's been matching up and how he's fared there? (It would be interesting if he and Parica hooked up after the toirnament.)

Speaking of which, has anyone seen the vbookie? Let him know I'm looking for him!:D
 
Yep Archer won 13-4. He never really let Morra get going in the finals. I'll bet Morra only took maybe 20 shots in the final match. I can say one thing though, this kid is going to be one of the best.

Aside from a 4 hour drive home (should have been 2) due to the freaking snow LOL, the tourney was very well run and enjoyable to watch. Not to mention I need to stay off the craps table!

Oh well guess I better do some work.

Interesting how? Like you've got nothing better to do for a year, while they play their 10-ahead set?:rolleyes:
 
On that note, it seemed, from the AZBilliards article, that Johnny was playing fast and loose in the finals. Can anyone confirm that, and if so, did he play at that pace throughout the tournament? If indeed Johnny is now playing at a faster clip, watch out world!

Two sets I saw Archer play he played at a decent pace. But when he played Parica and Morra.... Vintage Archer.

i got action...john morra vs. hail mary shot any time...kid has been drinking his milk with his wheaties every day.....i lost to him at the US open qualifier in kitchener, ON...great shooter...he's only 17 too...better jump on that before he's 23..watch out world
