Did Efren commit foul?

I was watching this match between Efren and Bustamante from the 2003 US Open, and at 1:23:35 Efren slams the chalk on the table cloth in frustration, leaving a big chalk mark on the table. Was that a foul or/and unsportsmanlike behavior?

At one point earlier in the match they show another table where it believe McCready and Pagulayan were playing, and one of them stops the cue ball with the cue while it was still rolling, after shooting the 9. At least today, that would be a foul.


 
I wouldn't say he slammed the chalk on the table. As far as I'm concerned, there is nothing to see here.
 
Not sure about the foul but here's one thing that stands out watching Bustamante break.

He marks the table right through where Bustamante is going to intend his line of travel. Seems Sharky to me
 
He dumps chalk everywhere, always upside down. Efren is no stranger to filthy tables marked up all over the place with chalk and powder and who knows what else.
Nobody cared.

Least of all Bustamante. I think they feign concern and embarrassment as an opprtunity to set the record on what they were actually thinking. Parica always seemed to point at intended outcomes. Ya gotta laugh along.
 
accidental mark. he just hit the table as he messed up his safe. busty could have had it removed but its no big deal so why bother.
it might bother an apa 5 but pros dont care about things like that . that is why they make it to be pros.

besides they are friends.
