Did I delete, or conspire to delete a thread?
No
Why would I delete that thread?

Drivermonkey is a big ole baby, a fake, and a liar.
Go back and look at his early work where he claimed, among many things, to be in Hawaii. Then it was Savannah.
An over the hill punk. That's all.

Wow, did I miss something? :p

I can hardly wait to see how this thread unfolds...

Anybody think this guy is working with a full deck? Is this someone that should be on forum? A sick stalker that just starts a totally disruptive thread with this crap...c'mon people...nobody have anything to say. Where's anything pool related here. You catching this Mike Howerton?

I've had enough of that old bastard DM.
Everytime he posts, I smell the stench of bullshit.

He's got the nerve to say no player aims by feel.
Hmmm
Jam, how does Keith aim a shot?
Not how he describes it to someone he might be teaching, but how would he describe it when he's playing.

Yeah Mike.
Have a look, please.
Go read DM's bubble boy post and see where he accuses me of conspiring to have a thread deleted.
I had stated I wouldn't interrupt his thread again (which I didn't)
But I felt the question deserved an answer.

Oh yeah
Waaaaaa Waaaaaa
You get out of my thread DM
If there was a button to keep you out...........
Waaaa Waaaaa
You decrepit old baby

If you can comprehend, you know that DM doesn't say that. If you can't comprehend, learn how.

On a related issue, isn't this thread about your not being responsible for a deleted thread elsewhere? Now you're trying to what, recreate another aiming thread? May I ask why?

And may I ask why you didn't respond to my inquiry in the thread in which it was asked, but instead started this thread with your (non)answer? Is it so you can more easily delete your post, thus this thread, and then lie about the whole shebang later on?

Keith is most definitely a "feel" player. :p

According to Willie Mosconi: ...Constant practice is the only answer. The player must "feel" the force necessary on the shot that confronts him. Until you develop that "feel," you will have trouble with position play...any player who has a good stroke, knows how to follow and draw, has mastered the dead-ball stroke, and who knows the value of center-ball stroking can, through practice, judge the force necessary.

When Keith rises and shines this fine Thursday morning, I will ask him to post a response to this thread relating to "feel." :)

I agree.
I think what DM is trying to say is that no-one actually justs "aims by feel". And i agree. Even though i go through no concious thought before getting down on the shot. Feel (even in DM's world) is there, but like JAM quoted above, isn't really about aiming. How many people have some sort of system for the speed of a shot? Or position? You just do it.

Aiming my ass!

Who the hell cares about aiming? Either you can play, or you can't play. Either you can make balls, or you can't make balls. Why is there so much discussion on aiming? These threads are killing me. Save the "aiming" threads for the AZbilliards Instructors forum so just the pool instructors have to deal with the nonsense. Oh, we don't have one of those? Well let's create one so these old arguing know-it-alls can have someplace to hypothesize and deliberate and release their years of pool frustration.

Firstly DM says you MUST have an aiming "system"
Which is BS

No consious thought is aiming by feel.
You know where the cueball is going because you've been there before, time and time again.

If you don't like the content of MY THREAD. don't post.
I answered YOUR QUESTION.
And yes, it is what he's said over and over.
He even made the analogy that without an instructor in there with him, he could never learn to play. Which is BS.

Yes, I can see you're a moron.
I said No.
In Spanish that's "NO"
Meaning I did not have the thread deleted.

Who published your book?
I can't find it on Amazon.

BRILLIANT...now how did you get to that point explain it. How do you feel what needs to be seen FIRST. Once you SEE...then you FEEL.

Yet another example of why this board needs a ignore thread button. I don't like haveing to scroll to the second page just to find a thread thats actually about pool.

Put a "ignore thread" button so I don't have to see this particular thread ever again....

(Just in case Mike or a Moderator reads this usless thread)

Well... thinking is a systematic process.
I must have an aiming system somewhere in my head.
I just don't think about it.
I couldn't even describe what goes on in my head before a shot.
Anything involving your brain (whether conscious or sub conscious) is a systematic process.

Can you tell us all what the root word of "systematic" is?

I have
There isn't a single person who taught me to aim one ball at another.
I used no system.
Like driving a car, you know where the sides are. You know they'll hit the wall if you turn into it.
I know where the outside of the cue ball is. I know how to make one point collide with another point.
Put the cue ball there. That's all I do.
I see it there.
It doesn't matter how I see it there, I just do.
Do I miss this way? Yes I do.
Does a edge to center system player miss? You'd better say yes.

Yes, and Plath says we're all dying. If you want to be that general.

Can no one just accept what an amazing thing the human brain is?

I would fully expect that if NO ONE ever gave you ANY instruction, tips, methods, or different ways that might be better than others...and if you don't like reading about different ideas to improve...you miss quite often.

Center to edge player misses also...if he's adept at using it, probably a hell of a lot less than you. That's why even HE needs to know OTHER ways that might be beneficial. And there are.

I'm still looking to see something in writing from you how on your method is transferable to someone else to give IMMEDIATE improvement. Let's see that be your next post or are you gonna moonwalk around it some more?
