Did Jeanette Lee set a record for most balls made at once?

I've seen video of Alex Pagulayan making 6 balls on the break. I've also seen Earl Strickland doing a trick shot where he pockets about 12 balls...don't remember the exact number...How many did Jeanette make?

I was recording some sets we were playing one night a couple of years ago, and this skinny little kid pockets 6 solids and the eight on the break, playing with a full legal 8-ball rack. No stripes.

In rotation?

Ok I already won the bet about Jeanette Lee. Some league player tried to tell me that she just set the record for most balls made in one stroke in a trick shot, breaking the previous record of 8. WTF!!!??? I told him I just watched Earl do 14 last night. I got home and emailed him this link so I'm good.

Here is the most unbelievable thing I ever did on a break:

9 foot table playing 8 ball and I broke and every single stripe ball ended up corralled in the kitchen in 1 square foot of real estate near the corner pocket with all the solids sitting ducks. I looked up in awe at every one of the league players and everyone of them had their jaw dropped. Easiest break and run ever.

I was playing a safety in one pocket and ended up making 3 balls in my pocket on one shot. Don't ask me how I did it. :p

Obviously, I had missed something when I looked at the table. :sorry:

There is a guy in Chicago that I saw make between 36-40 balls in one shoot... It was on a back table at chris's..

No... on The Break!

N10Spool has seen the video clip, actually I think it's still at his house now that I think about it.....

I'll find it, and post it up.
Dude screwed up the whole damn game! Only thing left of the solids was the 2 ball-

His name is Jeff Gates a good friend of mine and I think this shot is up to 40 balls now. He just keeps finding ways to add more balls to the shot. I have a tape of me making his shot when it was at 24 balls some fifteen years ago. I think this has to be the world record if not please correct me.
Jeff is a very talented person who is a perfectionist. You have to see this shot to believe it. Philw

I'm glad someone mentioned Jeff's efforts here. He said that when he contacted Guiness and that they basically weren't interested? I forget the exact reason, but I didn't get the sense that he really cared about that too much. He seemed pretty open about the fact that he really didn't know why he was doing it either. lol

When he showed me the video of 40, it reminded me of looking through a kaleidoscope! lol

I think it's been a year or so since I've seen him there though.

Very interesting project he was working on.

You should ask him to post it on youtube. We would love to see that.

I don't know if he still does, but for years he had that back table at Chris's set aside for his exclusive use just to work on that shot. You'd see him back there with a vido camera mounted on a stepladder on that table with marks and worn ball tracks all over it. Last time I saw him there was a year or so ago and he was up to at least 35 balls then. He videos every attempt, so there's no doubt about what he's accomplished.

When he wasn't using it the table was covered and "out of circulation". I'm going there tonight (first time in months), so I'll see if it's still his table.

I imagine when 40 balls were made there was more than just balls on the table?

No, it was just balls. It was an extremely complex layout basically with a cluster in the center that spread out into other clusters which if I recall correctly were mainly two bigger ones near the side pockets and smaller ones toward the corners. Again, it's been maybe a year and a few months since I saw it but the timing thing was absolutely insane.

My sense was that there was no chance Jeff would ever put it on YouTube. He talked about a couple different distribution ideas he had, but then he'd tear down those ideas just as quickly. He was very protective about copies and he was a little careful about who he played the tape for. It was kind of like if you asked, he would probably say no, or he was busy, but if you just happened to be standing there talking to someone else, he might come over and ask you if you wanted to see it. lol

That's nothing. I once broke in eight ball and after my break every single ball, all the solids and all the stripes and the eight ball, ended up frozen together in a perfect triangle pattern near the headspot.

Yeah after thinking about it a bit, what I recall is that he said at the time that 40 was the highest amount he had on tape (Digitally recorded actually) but that he dropped 42 a couple times.

Might get off my ass and practice a little tonight myself so maybe I'll see ya.
