Did Tim Scruggs have his own layered tip?

I bought an old Hightower lathe and in the box there are some black layered tips that have TS stamped into them. I've installed all kinds of tips and have never seen these.

I wonder if the T stands for Talisman? Not sure if they made a soft, or not.

They're advertised on aliexpress.
I never heard of them before there.

yup, they did, may still. Been using one of their 'Break' tips for about 5 or 6
years now.
