i bought a 12.4 my micrometer is 12.54
is that ok to you guys?
can they be turned down?

.4936 is 12.54 in inches
.4881 is 12.4 in inches

.005 thou, roughly the width of a human hair .0025 per side

its your money though larry, get what you paid for if it feels wrong

they probably arent worrying about holding those kinds of tolerances, but i have to hold .0005 on $10,000 pieces of material at work often lol

The only thing that really matters if you're happy with what you received as a customer. It is not wood and with cf when it comes to the tube it should stay as you got it.
In our school we have a kid who got a nice package / gift from his parents - both playing cue with Revo 12.4 and a breaker BK Rush. When I tried that Revo being also curious as someone who also builds cues I had also checked it on the table surface and discovered it to be not perfectly straight...slight taper roll...the tip stays on the surface...nothing serious bla...bla...but for that price they ask in my opinion it should be just perfect and it is up to customers to demand what they were expecting and what those marketers claimed.
P.S. I didn't say anything I discovered to the kid or his parents but I got my conclusions)...

12.4mm as spec'd is ridiculous . RIDICULOUS.
Stick to quarters . 12.25, 12.5, and so on. Think of your shaft as 12.5mm instead.
You are never going to miss a ball EVER because the shaft is .005 thicker .

Thought my 12.9 was 13mm. But after careful review it's 12.94 where the tip meets ferrule.
Try measuring it with another micrometer before you send it back.

I've had 15 different Revos and they were all exact. Very odd to see yours bigger, could be the whole batch.
