Difference between IV3 and 4?

Just in case you don't know...the 4 is the most bulletproof ferrule material ever offered.;)

You should share the information so that others who may search for this later on can find it more readily. And I would suggest using the word Ivorine as you can't search for things that are only 3 letters.
 
A cuemaker is currently offering me to fit iv-4 on the cue which Im ordering.

I like to hear more comment for ivorine 4. How is it comparing with others?
 
Weren't IV3's rolled phenolics?
IV4's look like flat sheets turned round to me.
 
Iv4 is a phenolic Resin with glass in it great ferrule material for J/B CUES.
