I was wondering if any one knows if theres a difference in the 2,
I have a quick release cue and was thinking if I wanted to get a LD
shaft would a uni-loc one fit or would I have to get a partial and have some one finish it??

Uni-Loc is a company that makes one type of quick-release joint. Several other types of quick-release joints also exist, and they are not compatible with the one made by Uni-Loc. You say "I have a quick-release cue," but that doesn't necessarily mean it has a Uni-Loc quick-release joint. You need to determine for sure which type of joint your cue has before knowing whether you can buy a ready-made LD shaft that will fit.

Saying you have a cue with a quick release joint is like saying you have a truck. There are many different types or brands of trucks and quick release joints.

What is needed is more information. What brand of cue do you have? Do you know what thread pitch the joint screw is?

Most of the more popular cues with quick release joints are commonly known, like Viking, Pechauer, Predator etc. There are many import cues using quick release joints made overseas. These are much more difficult to know what they are and how to build a shaft to fit them.
