Different type of cue case

anyone know were i could find a see through cue case? like maybe glass on top type of deal?

ive been googling but no luck
 
Not that it is any of my business, but why? I can't imagine that type of case offering any protection at all.
 
I dont see why you could take a basic box case and have a window (lexan likely) installed in the top.
 
I've seen sleeve/soft cases with clear windows but I don't think you'd find a hard case with one in it. The lexan window would probably cost more to add than the rest of the case. ;) Not too many 'highend' box cases around anymore.

But if you had a case , I'm sure you could get someone to add the window, Im pretty sure I could do it.

I bought a cue off of craigslist this past summer and the gentleman I bought it from met me at a centralized location. He opened his trunk to show me the cue and it was in a home made 2x4 plexiglass box case. It was a pretty gaudy looking case to carry around but I gotta admit the cue looked pretty damn cool in the "showcase" type case the guy made for it. He offered me the case for 40.00 but like I said it wasn't my style........and the deal on the cue was so good I wanted to get the heck outta there before he changed his mind!

I can't imagine it would be hard to make one like it though.
 
and thats what i'm thinking, a show case type of cue box. i've been talking to my cousin about it, were thinking about just making it ourselves.
what is the best material to use for inside the box. what do most cases have in them? suede?
 
I have seen a few over the years. Never seen any for sale as a ongoing item though. Some cue brands come in boxes now with small windows to see the cue inside.

I designed this box for Fury and it can be made with a plexiglass window as well
