I just use mine for the straight in "Mosconi" warm up shot. Anyone else use a laser and 'donut holes' in practice, and how do you use it? Thanks.

When my opponent is down on his shot, he gets it in the eye.
Or, I make the laser dance around the table in front of his object ball.

I set the laser on the rail. The light is lined up to both the middle of the object ball and the middle of the pocket. This gives me my contact point, from anywhere up-table of the shot.
I've used small pieces of sticky paper, numbered 1-9, to practice the same 9-ball runout repeatedly.
