My experience with LD shafts is limited but here goes. I did play with a Predator 314 years ago and liked it all in all. Then I sold that cue and went back to a standard cue which I play with now without an LD shaft. Recently I played with one of these and was very impressed, http://jacobycustomcues.com/hybrid.php I found there was no time frame to adjust to the shaft at all. With the Predator it took me several weeks to get comfortable with it. I may purchase one of the Jacoby's and put it on an old player I have for going to some places I am not to comfortable bringing an expensive cue to. Thats my opinion FWIW.
