DigiBall Passaround Reviews

By the way, the faint yellow circle is centered on the average tip position with the radius equal to one standard deviation. If that is useful…

Yes I like that. So in my follow example the faint yellow circle is nicely centered while in my draw example you can see a slight offset to the left.

I will be interested to see what @dr_dave and other skilled instructors do with this sort of data. It really opens up a whole new universe of data.

Nice cluster dude!!👍🏻 Seriously.
I wasnt trying to hit any particular point on the cue ball, that was just me playing the ghost. I was checking each result after the shot, some of the hits were where I intended to hit, others I was off. The first night I used it I was shocked at how I was hitting spots other than I was intending, when I concentrated a little harder on hitting my intended points I did much better but its easy to become lackadaisical and start missing my target spots again. That is something that I definitely was not aware of before trying Digiball, other than the draw shots that end up being stop shots, seems to happen the most when I intend to draw the most distance. :D

I have been checking the interweb virtually every day since my testing time looking to order my Digiball but have not seen them available yet, maybe I can just buy the demo when testing is complete. :):):)

It's going to be their biggest asset in how they teach stroke mechanics to new players.

I was surprised by how far off I was on certain shots when my eyes deceived me and told me I hit the cue ball there -x when in all actuality, I was a full tip off in some cases and applying unintentional spin on other shots I thot I'd hit center ball.
Embarrassing, but fixable when you know about it. I wouldn't have had a clue without Digiball.
And I was surprised at how quickly I was able to correct stroke errors bcuz I could see my progress in real time as I worked to fix them.
Awesome sauce!!!😉

I’ll be the one to take the heat
That price point seems too high to me
Most Cue feedback devices like Digicue and Q-MD. Are in the 150 range.
I think you’re pricing yourself out of a market if you go to the 300 price point

Fair enough, good feedback. But you must remember that the requirements for the DigiBall sensor are much more demanding than the DigiCue or Q-MD. Those other products aren't potted, precision balanced, and don't need phenolic resin heat-curing immunity or a second piece of electronics to provide wireless charging.

I now have more information. The selling price of the DigiBall will be around $300.

Please provide your thoughts. Thanks.
Done deal. With all the tech it contains as well as the ease of info provided, that price seems fair, given today's market.
I'd buy one yesterday!!!
