Jerry Briesath and Danny Diliberto are joining forces this Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Chris’s Billiards in Chicago for a four hour seminar from 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $60 which includes table time. I understand both teachers will be demonstrating and the students will be working on the tables.

Jerry Briesath is one of the top teachers in America and has taught many teachers including Mark Wilson, Scott Lee, Randy Goettlicher. His most famous student is probably Jeannette Lee but he has also taught Jeff Carter. Danny Diliberto is probably most known for his One Pocket and Straight Pool and for his incisive commentary for Accu-Stats. Recently, the winner of the World Straight Pool Championship, Stephan Cohen, gave credit to Danny for teaching him everything he knew about straight pool.

Please contact me or Pat Hays (773-763-0620 ) if interested.

Thanks Dennis,
WOW! $60 for 4 hours? That could be the single best teaching deal I have ever heard of. If I wasn't playing in a tournament on saturday I would be there for sure. Just the chance to ask a couple of questions from those guys would be worth the money. There should be at least 50 people minimum if the word gets out. Good luck with the event guys.

Bumping it up for the evening crowd. I talked to a couple of guys tonight that are interested. Hopefully more get in on this.

Bump for weekend warriors trying to get a jump on planning.

I agree, what a duo.

Jerry is indeed my Mentor and friend. Jerry always walks a little funny because he has all my cash in his pocket from our Golf game. Jerry is more than a great Instructor, he's a great friend.....SPF=randyg

Bump for great lessons at bargain basement prices.

It was a good time.

Jerry - Fixed a couple of my fundamentals, learned a system for one rail kicks. Not sure if it is the best, but better then what i had (no system).

Danny - straight pool strategy

I couldn't be there but am curious as to what kind of turnout they had and what kind of format was used.

This is "GREAT"

When I was in the Navy myself and a fellow shipmate jumped on the train in Great Lakes and took the 2hour journy to Chris's. We got to know him very well. So well, he started to drive us back to the base after while. He is a great guy, and a ton of knowledge. As for Danny, forgetabout it!!! $60 balloons, for 4hours, you can't beat it w/ a stick. Good luck to everyone, have fun....

7 people showed up

2 of Pam's APA teammates
3 Straight pool players
I'm a barbox player, and another guy from my area (not sure what to put him under).

The took us in the back room to the right of the snooker table. Jerry started off by giving us our own table and had us shoot some shots. then he critiqued some of our fundamentals. After awhile they used a table to demonstrate some Straight pool strategy, then tips for getting position with OBs hanging in the pocket, and last was kicking and banking techniques.

Sort of bittersweet, sucks that only 7 people were there for such a deal but I did get a bunch of one on one time with Jerry and the other guy I knew got a bunch of time with Danny.
