Diluted Aramith Ball Cleaner / Polish?

I see some here advocate for using a spray mixture of 1 TBSP of Aramith Ball Polish in 1 cup of 91% Isopropyl alcohol. One of the automatic ball polisher manufacturers also recommends this while cleaning in their machine.

I watched the video of Dr. Dave showing the effect of various cleaners on throw and he STRONGLY urges against cleaning with acetone or alcohol as these clean the ball TOO well and result in MUCH more friction induced throw.

Has anyone used this witches brew and seen any positive or adverse results?

I have been using Aramith Ball Polish and see no reason to vary. Happy with results. I use as little as possible, If I used a spray for a light cleaning it would most likely be Novus #1. If Dr Dave says no..it's no

I use this (https://www.seyberts.com/automatic-ball-cleaners/chem-pak-ball-cleaner/) mixed 50/50 with 91% Isopropyl alcohol and it works great and has no effect on ball contact and throw.

Acetone would screw the surface up. Straight alcohol is too strong

Ball polish cut with alcohol would clean and dry faster. Use the ratio you described for great results
