Dime Size tip shaper?

Willard... Costs about $6 and will last a long long time. Plus having the gauge on the side to check the shape is great.

Willard's...

...makes a couple of tools that are dime or nickel radius. They have one that is a combo tool, a tip tapper file plus their metal impregnated cup. I also have a couple of tip shapers from Nivecraft that are dime radius.

I like these better for layered tips than Willards when doing significant leather removal. I do keep a Willards with me when out playing for touch-ups, however.
 
I agree the Willard's tool is good. If you can find an Ultimate Tip Tool, I like to use the two strips of sandpaper on the sides to work the shoulder of the tip. There are probably other tools that can do that just as well though.
 
The place I play at has an Ultimate Tip Tool that they let me borrow :D
Best shaper ever. In exchange I let them use my porper mushroom grazer.
