For those of you who don't know of Rives, he contributed many shots in Bob Byrnes book of Trick Shots and was an accomplished Finger Billiardist.
I met him at Gradys Legends of One Pocket I believe and he was showing me some finger billiards tricks and reverse English kicks 1 and 2 rails.
He was an accomplished player even though he must have been in his 70s at the time.
He had beaten Jose Parica in a nine ball tournament not long before that when Jose was playing great .
I haven't heard anything of him since then , I just wondered if anyone knew if he was still with us or had passed?
He was one of those people I could spend days with just talking to about anything and everything.
