Nope, not mad at the IPT, kinda mad at KT for doing this thing the wrong way, glad he at least tried, and happy some did make some money and the show was short and fun, but it was way too much too soon, and the pie in the sky that was being thrown around was sure to come back and haunt the IPT. But I like some of what I saw and I learned one thing, Pool will never be a main stream event, never get major coverage and struggle to be anywhere close to bowling or even fishing, even with the right people in charge.
It's too bad KT had such a bad past history, otherwise this thing could still have been turned around, but at this point I can't see him even wanting to continue and these days will always haunt the image.
I'm more upset when I see people mention pyramid scheme, ponzie, or any other shame they think it was, yes it was a train wreck of a business plan with not enough backing to follow it through, (which KT said he did
) And with all kinds of pie in the sky and false hopes that had no chance to be realized. that's it plan and simple, was never set up to be scam and doesn't even fit the profile (the IPT lost money), But KT certainly screwed it up with all his over the top talk and poor communications skills.
KT made horrid statements that could only lead to people to feeling it was nothing more then a scam, his reputation with many in the public has truly soiled this. I feel with the right choices, right people in charge (not KT, he should have taken a back seat and taken more advice), and more organization within the pool community, especially the players, this could have worked.
Disappointed is how I feel, disappointed with the choices KT made, disappointed with all the negativity he had follow him, and disappointed in many of the fans of pool. I think I have to take a long vacation from reading all this, it's just to stressing to me, I really thought this was going to work
Slim -> (still has hope something good will happen, like KT leaves it for someone else to try and make work
God bless to all you players waiting for money, I pray for you all to get paid.
