Hi everyone, my name is Aaron Silva, I'm new here...here are some pics of my favorite cue...despite all the goodies, it's actually the best player I've ever hit with...enjoy.

Dan said he'd never seen a piece of cocobolo like this...swirly, mottled-(almost looks like eyes in places) and a nice range of colors...you should see it in the sun! I'm not rich and will probably never own another cue like this...it took me a year to get it...I read somewhere that Bill McDaniel's shaft taper is the same as Dans...not sure if that is so, but man this cue is a great player!

Glad you enjoyed the pics...

Nick, yes it's a steel Radial pin-dipped in something black (not sure what).

Maybe someday I'll be privelaged enough to also own a Scruggs...and/or a Tad, Tascarella, Mottey, Gina, Szamboti, BB, Hercek, Cantando...did I forget somebody? lol

I wanted something big, without paying a Ginacue price...or having to wait 5 years to get it...and Dan was willing to work with my budget...and I like his designs, this was a tough choice, but I'm glad I went through with it.

I really enjoy looking at cues on this website, many of you have lots of great cues! I have only a handfull of merry widows (and then this one), it's a humbling experience, but enjoyable none-the-less.:thumbup:
