According to the Blue Book Danbuilt's were made from '92-96, and as Dishaw from 1996 to present.
Thanks. I bought mine from Best Billiards in Santa Ana, CA around 1994-95. The salesman was Ariel Carmelli. Ariel told me it was one of Dan's early cues.
Ariel made this cue for me a few months later which I used primarily as my breaker until recently when I purchased an Icebreaker 2. This is definitely one of Ariel's first cues; a full splice, ebony pointed conversion.
