Do Jerry Olivier cues have a unique hit or can the hit be compared to any other cues?

Do Jerry Olivier cues have a very unique hit, or can the hit be compared to any other cues?

Do they have a similar hit to Phillippi cues (for example), or any other cues that you can think of?

I owned a Phillippi sneaky pete in the past, and the hit was too stiff for my liking (kind of like the stiffness of a Predator Z shaft that I had).

I just hope that Olivier cues do not have that super stiff type of hit that I do not like.

Thanks for your opinions.

My friend uses a jerry Oliver cue that my friend and I bought from Roberto superman Gomez last year. It plays well but I do not feel that it has a unique hit

That would definitely depend on the person holding the cue . What hits wonderful for one person , hits like crap for another . To many things to consider . Jim

I have been using Olivier for over 6 years, exclusively.

What's been said of them is that they take a little while to get used to but once you do, you never go back!

This was exactly the case with me. I am now using my second olivier.

I think it felt like a well-built cue. What I like about a cue is the way it plays
for my style of play. From finesse to power shooters,it all depends on how
you play.Certain cues play awesome and others not so much.
Thats not because the cue was garbage but didn't suit my style of play.

I have played with my Olivier for 10 years, I have hit other cues, but haven't found one that hits any better. I am not saying it hits the best, just none hit any better. I won't trade mine for any other cue.--Smitty
