I really commend the seller for taking the lower offer. Sounds like a stand up guy. I think he should have said "waiting to hear back from someone ahead of you to respond" when he asked about " how he would pay".

Obviously this buyer created a new account. Probably because he's a d**k and has had shady deals before on his part. We will see him again under a new account soon, so far we know him as "Ivan". There should be a sticky with guys names, paypal info and alias that do buisiness like this blackmailer.

If I were the seller, the first thing I would tell the Buyer B is "I already have a deal with someone else. If the deal fall through, the cue is yours." That way will save me and Buyer B a bunch of PMs, and I won't have to explain anything later, and my "friends" won't have to give him a bunch of red for no reason.

I had had an agreement to buy a Pechauer cue from this "club trader". He agreed only to backdoor me because "someone else" was all of a sudden buying the cue instead of me. I suspect he either got more money for it or will keep it and get more money out of it later on.

I think that you should be wary if people on this site who do not keep their word in selling you something.

Have to agree here.. Not sure why the seller didn't explain he was waiting on a potential buyer.

You know reading this whole post cracks me up !!:yikes: ,, I just went thru something similar when I had a cue up for sale and I had so many pm's on the cue and offers.. And It was pretty much sold right after I posted the cue but the gentelman that bought the cue actually wanted to come see it and pick it up in person and its actually the best way to sell something. But Of the multible people that wanted the cue I told everyone what was going on and if the deal fell thru I would get back to them. But still there was one guy that insisted he was the first person to inquire about the cue but he was not. And I told him its my cue and I can say who I will sell it to and who i wont sell it to..:bash: Why do some people think you have to sell your cue to them ?????????????? << ED

Which is why there should be a RULE that the first to post in the thread should get the cue. Not through some PM. This brings in all kinds of favoritism, quarrels, etc........................ How many times has this been covered here? And how many of these have we read? Being stupid is repeating the same things over and over again expecting a different result.

Given a choice, I'm going to sell to whomever I feel most comfortable with (e.g. past great deals) and may even offer a bit of discount. There are few on the board, I would never sell to .... not even for extra $25.
