Grrrr.....Ok, I took a Schon R7 out of my personal collection for this guy. I have way too many cues anyway so I told him I would sell him my personal cue. The man received VERY close up pictures of all parts of the cue. I also gave the guy the description from the BB of pool cues. It says there is ebony points (not black ebony) and the guy is mad because there's no black ebony. Plus, he says he's a collector and doesn't know that?!? ARGH! Now, he being a rude, insulting jerk! I was going to just get it back but he sent me a nasty threatening email. SO, AZers BEWARE!!
 
As a collector, he should have known what he was getting...and it likely would have taken very little research on his part. There is a definite difference between the Gabon Ebony and the Macassar Ebony. I actually think that the Macassar is visually more interesting...but that's me.

LMAO! I love you guys. I like Felix's idea. But seriously, who buys a cue like that and doesn't look it up? No, Charlie.....haven't gotten it back yet. Hopefully, everything will turn out ok. Thanks!

Thanks...Will keep an eye out....I never sell to AZ'er who've caused problems. There is never any need to be rude unless someone ignores your PM's or uses foul language.

I talked to Joe about the BB he had on ebay and he brought up the
schon and said he was returning it because the condition was not
as described.
FWIW, Joe seemed like an honorable chap to me.

Yes, that is the same guy. As for the condition.....He was sent high resolution, very detailed, pictures. Plus, what kind of "collector" are you if you don't know what you are buying?
