126 players from the U.S open. Were there any side action matches?

I thought Justin Hall was offering to play anyone(not named Efren) for 10K in 1p in his homeroom? Dennis, Busty, or Alex didn't want to challenge him? no traveling cost invovled..


Didn't Mike Dechaine offer to play Shane for up to 3K?
 
In answer to your question about whether pro players gamble... Yes.

I don't know this for sure but most of them probably like to gamble against easier targets than other pros. There are many lesser players that wouldn't mind gambling against them for the chance to play one of the greats even if they don't have a chance.
 
I just got back from Qmasters, there was plenty of orcullo, pagulyon and Hall in the "tournament room"
 
I doubt seriously Hall would play anyone even one pocket besides Efren. I am pretty sure there would be a line around the block to take him up on that offer.

There's a spot down in Florida to play him. Find you a horse and fly em down. They will get played. If you like they will post all the no show money you want. If you need I can put you in direct contact with J Hall.

He has a stake horse in Cape Coral, that will let him play ANYONE
I don't need to stake him nor anyone else, it's not what I like to do.

Well SVB is supposed to go down there and play him. You can just bet what you want when that happens.

its not even it is on his home table in his home room that he plays on every day
he posted a open challenge to any player not named Efren to come play 10k sets or more

Generic statement here... you'd be a fool to stake ANY pool player you don't know personally against someone they do know. But... you would also be making that long list of suckers longer.
 
I have a second home in Naples florida, is there a pool hall in Cape coral florida that you are referring to- I am looking for places to play on the South West florida Coast -- Thanks
