Do something positive for the game.

Hey azer's, I just wanted to post a few thoughts this morning in regards to pool. Maybe some of you will agree and go out to do something similar.

1. In light of purported waning interest in the forums and lack of content... stop your *****ing. Content on forums like these are generated by users. If you want to see more interesting threads more often, do it yourself! Use your head, come up with a thoughtful question and post it. Share your pool stories, a picture of your cue, whatever it is, if you want to see good content, you can make it happen.

2. Do something positive when you go out to play pool. Even if it is something small. Getting into action is great, and can be a lot of fun, but every once in a while try to do something for the game. For example, play with a newer player, or bring a friend in to the pool hall who doesn't normally play. Hell, I've given away four or five cheap cues and cases to new players that don't have their own equipment. I've seen people who maybe can't afford a 100 dollar cue, but they're really hooked on the game, and it's nice to do what you can to keep them interested in the game.

3. On a different note, did they change the forum rules on posting in the wfs section? What's up with that? Seems like you can comment without bumping on some of the threads.

Thanks for reading, please share your thoughts!

Good post OP.

You get out of this site what you put into this site. If you're bored, it's because you're boring.

Contribute to the forums or shut the hell up. Quit whining and contribute content.

If anyone gets offended by this post, I was probably talking to you.

Agreed, that is why I try to post daily!

3. Yes, they added the option to bump thread in the thread tools menu. Commenting no longer bumbs!

Counter to the Aiming Arguement

I try keeping that in mind as I play and as I live. I'm very passionate about pool and really love the game and sometimes the Aiming Arguments...I'm like....what are these people thinking?. So as a counter to some of that I don't care who you are or what Aiming System you use I have advertised on my website and in my threads in The Wanted Section that if you want to learn how to spin the cue ball, spin the rock and play with English I will help you. I've had several already contact me and I have gotten them started. I have been doing some writing on that area that isn't completely done but a lot of it I can help people with. This yes it is, No it isn't argument can get pretty childish sometimes and its no different than a world full of religions.....in my view we are all trying to get to the same place and those of us that do are a lot happier.
