How important is it to have level eyes? I knew a guy who shot pretty well with only one eye. Does level matter for him? Since there is a dominant eye does level really matter for the rest of us once all the shooting decisions (psr) are made?
Jodacus...It is only important for the eyes to be level, if that's the way you perceive a straight line. We "see" with both eyes, most especially after the line of vision reaches past about 30" (hands reach...which is the limitation of dominant eye). Not everyone has a dominant eye, regardless of what some think. Most of us do, but not all of us 'see' a straight line with the cue under our dominant eye. Therefore, some of us aim with cocked heads, and some with level eyes. It really doesn't matter, as long as you're "seeing" the shot correctly. What's infinitely more important, imo, is that you possess the skill to deliver the cue into the straight line your brain and eyes perceive.
