overall, I have learned that the pool gods do not want to communicate with me during a match!

I do have a 'Pre Match' routine for 3C. If I haven't played for several months I will play some random simple shots for maybe 20-30 minutes to get some sort of,' Timing, Tempo, Stroke and Speed of the table.'
After that, I'll start with the 'Break Shot' shooting the SAME CB always, playing to 25 points and keeping the innings for average. I start out trying to make 25 points in 25 innings, when I can do that consistently for 3 or 4 games I try to make 25 in 20 innings, then 26 in 15 innings ALL the time shooting just ONE CB! When I can consistently make 25 in 15, which is averaging 1.666, I know then I can average 1.333 against 95% of players!
Because I play a, 'Position Oriented' game it's essential to start with the 'First Correct Shot' to make runs in 3C! This is what makes you a better player to achieve a higher average per inning, This is how 3C players are rated, by their points per inning at the table.

You might think this a really stupid question, but...
So those of you that have a "pre match routine" is it something that you do right before a match? I find that if I need to warm up or anything like that for me it's best done a couple of hours before hand and at my own table at my house if possible, any cue or tip maintenance is taken care of way before so that when it's time for the match to begin I put my chalk in my pocket and put my cue together and step to the table ready to lag or flip. I'm not comfortable having the other player (or team, or rail birds, or whatever...) watching me play before the match. So I guess any pre match routine that I have really takes place several hours before the match, if then you can really call it a pre match routine

I care. Sometimes I warm up for a tournament on a beautiful heated Gabrials 3 cushion table for a half hour or so. Helps my concentration and makes me aware of angles for kicks and safeties. You should try it. It will help your concentration.

Its good to see that there is at least one other billiard player on here...Thanks, but I prefer to warm up, on an actual POOL TABLE..I will accomplish more, than any 3C billiard player can even dream of !..But our hero has already proven that he can't even spell POOL ! :sorry:..Maybe you guys should try warming up on a ping-pong table ? Makes about as much sense !

There's a gentleman I know that has a 3C table in His home, we can play the 1 pocket ANYWHERE you want! Get back to that needle point, I'm sure you are better at that than the cue games!
After about 5 minutes with me, I'll have you foaming at the mouth, your mind is SO weak! Or we can play mum!
As soon as you post with Billy, MY money will be there in 10 minutes!
