Do you play on your own table, or have a table in your home?

Yes, I have since I was a kid. I actually don't know what it is like to not have a table. I currently have a 9'
GC II. I also own a 9' antique table as well as a bar table I have in storage. If someone is a pool player of even the most casual level, they need to have a table. There are few other sports you can actually play on professional level equipment right in your own home.

If you are a golfer, bowler, skater, skier, tennis player or any number of sports it is not reasonably possible. If you are a pool player though, for the price of a cheap used car you can have a great table that will last you a lifetime. Come on, who would not want that. Many people have RV's and boats they tie up tens of thousands of dollars in they hardly ever use. A pool table they will use every day, add to that a pool table will actually pay for it's self many times over. It's not even a close call decision.

Would love to have my own table. I technically have the space in my apartment but if I were to move I don't want to think about the hassle. I spend way more than table cost with maintenance each year to shoot pool here in nyc.

Not yet, but a number of friends own 8' tables in their homes. I've only met one person that had a 9' in his home. Not too many basements in Louisiana, so storing a pool table takes a lot of space out of the living area in a home.

I don't because I don't have the room in my condo. When I next move room for a table will be a top priority and I will get a 9ft Diamond or GC. I'd have no problem spending the money on a brand new table if I had the space for it, I'm confident I would use it every day which I'm sure would help my game tremendously because now I only get to play about 2 times a week.

My thoughts exactly... So far 362 views to this thread... Only 58 say they own a table.
