Not sure if you are aware of this. You can become BCA sanctioned and still play by your own rules. You do not HAVE to use their rules. You could use the same rules from your league that folded.
That is the way we went with our league that has been around since the 60s. We like our simple and tough rules and kept them.
Anyone that does decide to go to Vegas must play BCA rules in Vegas.

Mostly due to DWI inforcement and one of key taverns closing the league folded this year. The resession was the last straw.
With fewer folks out at the bars, bar owners with multiple tables want the leagues in house it seems.
I also quit The APA and helped start a new BCA league. Its going to be great after it gets established. Lots of great folks and a few that play very strong. BCA rules and the handicap system are SO much better than the sandbagging, nit picking, 23 rule making, coaster marking the pocket BS APA.... but thats for another Bash the APA thread.
