What s the strangest pattern you've scene after the break 8 or 9 ball...
I broke the balls (9 ball) a few years back and they made a stone cold ? mark in the middle of the table....

I've broken a rack of 8-ball and ended up with something like this. All balls in a cluster except the 8-ball. Very strange.

Mowem down:

I once broke a rack of 10-ball, and all the odd-numbered balls were congregated up-table, and all the even-numbered balls were congregated down-table. Needless to say, I had an "elevator" cue ball action, going up and down table, to get out in that one.

I once broke a rack of 8-ball on a bar-box, and wouldn't you know it, I made one of each category (stripe and solid), but I had six two-ball clusters on the table -- each a stripe/solid combination, with the 8-ball being the only ball by its lonesome. I could only see one ball to a pocket (one of the mixed stripe/solid two-ball combos was dead into a pocket), so I called that combo to lock a category for myself, and then played safe. I didn't even want to mess with it -- I played safe each time, and let my opponent continually kick at these two-ball clusters (trying to hit his category) until he broke enough of them open for me to finish the rest.

Finally, I once broke a rack of 9-ball, not make a ball, only to have the rack reconsolidate itself smack-dab in the middle of the table, roughly in the shape of a diamond (not perfectly, of course, but somewhat recognizable as a diamond). Very bizarre!
