This is a 314-2 shaft which a bought from here few weeks ago...the shaft looks like it de-laminates. Those black longitudinal thin lines are "fine" cracks. Anyone had a similar experience with Predator shaft? Do you think they will change it? Thank you in advance!

Predators are not like that.I know OB shafts can be grainy but not a Predator. As long as the shaft is not under 12.25 they'll replace it.Anything under that voids the warranty.Goodluck

What do you mean by "Predators are not like that."? You don't believe this is a Predator shaft?
Thank you!

Would it not be better to just go to Predator with this and ask them.
They are the only ones that can tell you if it is warranty or not.
This should have been you first move.
Here is their number.

GOOD IDEA! I'm not from US, already sent an email to Predator, but they didn't answer. More than that the user that sold me that shaft told he will take care of this problem...and now he doesn't answer PM's/emails. Probably the best option for me will be a refunding.
I don't understand why some people consider my question an offense to Predator, bad things may happen to any company/brand...I remember few years ago when BMW called back in the service several hundreds of cars because some technical problems. Doesn't matter anyway, I won't do the apology of the "admitting when you are wrong" issue.
Thank you all for the advices!

I think he didn't mean it to sound the way you took it Pyco.

I believe he meant to say, "thats not typical of a Predator shaft to do that".

I don't think he was doubting you that it was a Predator shaft.

Your question is not offensive but it does pass over a few boundaries of industry respect. To say if another Company will warranty anything is completely out of line. If you asked in the Main forum, You could get the opinions of the regular members, but this is ATCM, Most of us have respect for others in the Industry like a Code of conduct. Especially if we use our real names. I hope you understand this.

Did you buy the shaft from an authorized dealer?

Do you have your receipt?

If yes, then you need to send the shaft to your region's authorized Predator dealer OR to Predator in Florida, along with a copy of the receipt, your contact info and return S+H $.

If no to either question, then you are out of luck. This isn't a policy unique to Predator. Most manufacturers have similar rules to protect their brand and players.

You will probably have to call them. I have sent several detailed emails after going through their lengthy info screen, only to never get a reply. I called them and got through...

I have sent Predator a couple of mails without any answer too. I do not know why. You should call them, as already written....

Thank you for a straight answer.

I'm sorry for posting in the wrong section.

As far as it concerns me I consider this thread closed...thank you very much to all that answered.
