Sprite said:Sorry to say that....i am not.
Why i go for Taiwanese is that they are more cool and relax on the table. They do not focus much on their surrounding that is why they do not get influence so easily.
Phi are good and they always a treat to the Taiwanese. But due to before the start of WPC, filipinos set their hope too high. That is why there is an amount of pressure in the Phi top players.
As for Reyes, i do not think he lost bcos of pressure. He lost bcos he has lost touch in accurracy. What Reyes is very good as is experience. There is no doubt he is the best pool player in term of experience and theory.
Anyway, my prediction for the final is Wu Vs Alanco or Wu Vs Ralf. Hopefully it is not Wu Vs Kuo again.....that will be too boring.
gopi-1 said:Reyes hasn't lost his "touch", it's just there's too many distractions when he's
back home. Too many invites, money games, and he's staying up until the
wee hours in the morning playing chess, pusoy2, tong-its (the last 2 are all
card games), or mahjjong. He's a different animal when he's playing abroad.
He always gets enough rest before every game.
As for a Wu/Alcano finals, it ain't gonna happen. They're both in the upper
bracket. I would like to see Alcano against Souquet or David Alcaide in the
finals though...
