Doc Fry Cue?

Looks to be....and a super rare one with WICO (plastic) veneers.

Shame it has all that damage. If it didn't, it would be super valuable. Looks like that cue has been through hell and back. :(

Yep. It looks completely trashed unfortunately. There is also a black ring in the forearm like it has been broken and put back together. Although, this may have been the way that Doc made it long enough to convert. Who knows? Thought about bidding but what would you do with it? I think the cracked plastic rings are hard to find and can't be replaced easily and even if you could, would it still be a fry after all of that? Anyhow, that's my take on it.

Doc Fry?

Well, someone wanted it. Do you think it was a good buy?

Well as long as they feel they got a deal I guess it really doesnt matter much!! I seen it and didnt think it was worth the time $$$$ it would cost to restore it properly!! But thats just my opinion!! Someone else my think just the opposite and have some other Cues by Doc and simply want to add to their collection, and thats cool.

Questionable. I never saw one of his cues with the plastic and points. I THINK he used bumpers way past 1965. Most of Doc's cues were bumperless. Also his cues had glitter. That looks like cheap plastic. The joint looks right. The wrap looks looks right. However does not look like a typical DF cue.
Condition listed: 1965 Doc Fry Pool Cue. Overall good condition. There are some imperfections in the handle and some finish wear toward the end on the handle half. No warpage or cracks. Comes with two Cue ends(both straight and able to be attached to the handle piece)and carry bag.

No cracks? Fair to poor needs to be restored would be more accurate. The seller does not know much about cues. Comes with 2 cue ends....and a handle.
