For those who don't like "finger painting". The newest addition to the Gunslinger theme of cases.
$1500 was the price. Should it be higher?

This case features a full length inlay on the back. The handles are custom made and ergonomically fitted to the hand. Custom cut pockets to match the 100% unique tooling pattern. Four hours were spent lovingly crafting the magnetic puzzle latch, also unique to JB Cases. All the stress points are reinforced with rivets, nylon, and hand-sewn edges.
Two hours were spent crafting the bottom. This ugly ugly ugly bottom that looks simple but is crafted to make the outer skin and interior tube become one unit and be strong and durable for a lifetime. Never to slip from the table it's leaning on to land on the sticky soda covered floor. We build cases to be used not to be closest queens kept in bags at home.
And the lid. How many hours do you think we spent on the lid? Two, three, four? Try six. Starting with the fitting. Yes the fitting. We fit each and every lid to each and every body individually. We measure and cut and sew and sculpt it until it fits like a well tailored glove. We sew the handle on by hand after we reinforce it with leather and nylon. And of course the lid is fitted perfectly to the male part of the puzzle latch with care and precision.
Why do we say all this? Because even though pictures are worth a thousand words the pictures cannot tell you of the details in construction and obsessive detail that went into building this case. Cases like this take a long time to make. They take longer to dream up and plan out. They always take longer than promised to deliver and they are always worth the wait.
Ask anyone who has one. For $3500 you can have two and still have $500 left to go out on the town. When we finger paint then we start charging you extra for it. Simple dye jobs are thrown in gratis.
From now until this time next year there will be less than 24 of these cases in this class built. Five of those are already spoken for.
We are not taking orders yet. We will let you all know when we start with open dates for the cases in this class. Thank you for spending time looking and reading about what we do.
This case is available for sale through Roy Mallot at IndyQShop alongside all the other fine products he has for sale including more than ten brand new and pristine SouthWest cues, eight new Andy Gilberts, several new Cogs and many more.
