Does a player's Accu-Stats stats on most M Cup players go up or down?

Sports fan eat up stats. Baseball has a running batting average. I wish we had that running stat on our top players.

I'd love to see 2 Accu-Stats stats on each Mosconi Cup player. One for the prior year for the tourneys they earned BCA points to qualify for the Mosconi Cup. And then one for the Mosconi Cup alone.

Or asking a similar question to put it into context: Do players on average shoot better or worse during the M Cup vs points earnings tourneys?

I have an opinion, but will withhold for now so as not to lend bias...

I think with the pressure alone causes some missed balls. I'm gonna have to say the winning team probably shoots average to moderately better. I think the losing team probably plays a little below their speed.

No doubt. Daz is amazing and one of my faves for sure. As is Melling.

But there's this one southern gent that ain't chopped liver. Hint his name starts with J.

Are they above their normal stats, and if so, are they examples of the exception to the rule?

Just wondering...

And yeah, I know, conditions are different, and playing doubles and team events, etc, etc, surely don't allow for an apples to apples Accu-Stats comparison.
