Does Any 1 Play Online Pool?

However, Yahoo, or Aol pool, dude ... is well, VERY Cheesy! Virtual Pool 3, is Wicked! Might I suggest, looking on E-Bay, for it, or else, Good Luck! Depending on what part of the world, you live in. I tend to think, they only release so many copies, every now n then. Oh, and, you play on GameSpy!
I have been a player there, for going on 3 yrs, now! They have tournaments, and players from all over the world, US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Holland, Finland, Australia, Japan....
VP3 is the closest to real pool, that you'll ever get, until VP4 comes out!
You line up, behind your cue, which cheesy yahoo, n such, don't offer, much less, don't have an option for elevating the butt end of your cue!

I've played a little on yahoo, cashpoolcomps.com and just a few minutes ago on Pogo.
It would take a while to get used to controlling the cue ball. The power is also quite limited on pogo.
Question is...how good are the money players and are challenge matches easy to find? Are you guys making any money?
I wouldn't mind practicing a bit to give it a go. If online players are as bad as the average pool room player it might be a handy part time wage. Thoughts please
I play a lot of yahoo pool, mainly 8 ball, started playing 9 ball again recently out of boredom. Don't think u can beat yahoo pool, any virtual pool games i played were absolutely useless, unless they really changed the format doubt much has changed. Yahoo pool you always have people to play against, not playing against a computer player, most of the top level players on yahoo are also good real pool players, which i think shows that they did a good job with it. I'll play with anyone, if you are good i have 2 all stars ids to play 9 ball with.

Virtual Pool 3

TurbulentVixen is correct and anybody who has tried all of
the PC pool games will tell you that the very best pool game,
without a doubt, is Virtual Pool 3. I've been playing it for a
couple years. Those pool games at Yahoo and Pogo don't
even begin to compare to VP3. VP3 has everything that makes
it feel and play like real pool! The graphics are unbelievable,
the balls look real and they roll and spin like real balls.
When you put english/top/bottom on the CB, deflection,
swerve, throw, transfer of english all come into play according
to how hard or slow you stroke the cue ball and according to
how fast or slow the table is that you are playing on and how
high your butt is elevated (if it's not level). You can adjust your
view of the shot so that you are seeing exactly what you would
be seeing if you were stroking the shot on a real table. The only
thing missing is instead of an actual cue in your hands, you move
your mouse to stroke the ball. The game costs $15 - $30 depending
where you buy it. Your best chance to buy it is to look for it on
Ebay, no stores are selling it anymore. Play other people at
Gamespy.com any day, any time, they play mostly 9 Ball there but
other games too. Chat while you play, you'll be surprised at how
many real pool players play there. Just ask anyone who has tried
