Im just wondering if anyone knows what mcdermott wrapped their low dollar plain jane cues with back in 1995-1996? Low dollar meaning about 115-130 dollars they would have a few different colors red,green,brown,etc. It's not irish linen and doesnt seem as cheap as nylon.

All I've seen was nylon.

Someone told me once that they had gotten some thread (string, cord, whatever) made up to their specs for their cues. Not sure if it was cotton, linen, thread, nylon, or what... but as far as I know they had it made for them in particular. It wasn't something they bought somewhere.
I would bet that they will tell you if you ask.
