I sure hope you own a flame retardant Scottster suit asking a question like that here, and you better get it on quick... :D

If he is a road player, he can play. Being a road player, he should take on all customers. Meaning he should play for whatever you want to. So fire a cheap set at him say $50-$100 and find out.

wow

lol hes in columbia and nobody knows him? he either cant play dead or nobody wants to knock him!

you met fat head - a shortstop from nashville playz about lil jons speed but doesnt have the heart to beat lj even up

Nick Hickerson you mean

I think you mean Hickerson he plays out of Nashville, roams around the south, runs with Scooter Goodman sometimes. Nick plays a few balls better than little jon, he plays real fast and real loose, never really taking his time, but he still plays very good. He's at worst a 7 player.

if you think hickerson "plays a few balls better then lj" pls contact lj to set up a game i am sure he would take the weight and the rail would be open.

Lol

yeah i'm not to sure about nick giving lj weight.i think they play close on the 9ft.on the bar box I can't say.Nick plays pretty good on the box.I haven't known john to play on them much.

Alright Alright

I've seen Nick play several times, I've only seen LJ play twice at DCC and he was playing one pocket. I have no idea how they would match up at 9 ball, but I would pick Nick to win on the bar box for sure.

Thanks for all the replies. Nick gave me the last 2 on the bar box, so I played him 8 ahead for $500. We played 2 sets and he beat me both sets. Both of the sets probably lasted an hour. Not only was he a real good player but he kept getting all the roles. The first set, he breaks and makes the 9 on the break. The second game he breaks and makes 3 ball, out of the remaining 6 balls, 3 were hangers. I didn't get to the table until the 4th game when he broke and came up dry. When I finally get to the table I had to kick. Next, he puts a 3 pack on me. During the 2 sets that we played, Nick only missed 3 balls. He definiitely had his break working for him last night. After he beat me, he did offer me the last 3, but I had to refuse. I wanted the 7 and the last three with alternating breaks and he didn't like that game; so we called it a night. My overall impression of Nick was that he was a quite guy who plays good pool but doesn't have much gamble in him.

I guess you didn't want to take the Scottster's advice. Oh well, now we know how well Hickerson plays?

ehh.. what do I know?

I am actually proud of On The Run for steppin up and playing, not just investigating. Good for you to show some gamble. Personally I would not have fired $500 but I dont know what you're holdin either.

That was a double-barreled $500. Pretty steep for playing someone whose speed which you have no clue.

ON the Run is a marked man forever. He will go down in the Road Hog's Black Book as a man to see.

Someone who actually jumped up and played without a resume'? Kudos, I know you lost; but, in the long run you develop a tolerance for playing for the cash and you might take the next one off.
