I had a ah ha moment, people who know me, know I'm a fan of HAMB. I started doing routine drills, Slo mo app of my stroke etc. after a week of this and playing 8ball against my self I've noticed this. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong!!!!!
1: I no longer play opponents, I play the table
2: I no longer play a game, I play well executed shots,1 at a time
3: I open up congested areas to move better
4: I then play breakout shots after some room to move has been made
5: I nolonger play area position, I pick a resting spot.
Some of these I "thought" I was doing but I really was just shooting against an opponent, don't get me wrong I'm a decent player to start with but I was just going through the motions. My shape was lazy, my thoughts were lazy, my games were inconsistent.
Drills do help!
