Hypothetical: If Favre was accomplished poolplayer that you were staking in a big money 9-ball game and he dogged a 9-ball as bad as Favre dogged that last pass of his, what would cross your mind?:scratchhead:

I was almost ready to throw up when I saw him bring his arm back to pass. He had about 3-4 yards of open field in front of him, could of just tucked the ball in and ran it that much closer for his field goal team... but NOOOOO, gotta be all Favre and hero like about it.

sure looked like he coulda shoulda ran it instead of thrown it

With the time left, seems Minnesota coulda won with a field goal in the last minute if he had only tucked it in and ran it......I think he might have said something like that after the game.....another one of those moments in football history which will probably be remembered....was it a bonehead play or was it a "fix"? Is that what the OP was trying to say?

If he was a pool player, Farve would have:

Picked up a piece of lint off the field, proclaiming that it altered his throwing stance
Complained that a guy on the defense sharked him
Asked if the field was regulation
Put a tennis wrap around his glove
Stated he forgot to chalk before the throw, causing a mis-throw
Claimed that the pocket moved
Talked about how the humidity effected the ball path

Shall I go on?

:D

Just thinking about the attitude towards our sport. Your talking about the whole ball of wax here. This comes after the reigning Super Bowl champs (Steelers) lose how many games in the last few minutes during the season? And how many Super Bowls were held in Nawleans without the Saints ever participating? Is it their turn? Does New Orleans need a morale boost after Katrina. No, I'm not saying the game was fixed. What I'm saying is that if all these things were strung together in a pool match somebody might have some explaining to do in the parking lot.:nono:
