Thanks to all. It has been four days now and most of the pain is gone. I gotta admit though, even though I have been clean since 78, that morphine pump does have a use. Removing bones ain't no picnic. However, my one handed, left handed game has picked up quite a bit. Thank god for the rake!!!! I have gotten more support from you all than the guys in my home room. Thanks.

I hope the surgery on your hands helps! That morphine is great stuff when you're in pain! I had to take some a while back for kidney stones. When that pain is taken away, wow, what a relief!!

Glad you are better. Gosh the disease is progressive (been clean since 1990). Morphine, demoral, none of it works on me anymore. Went through a painful procedure last nov, was given morphine, demoral. It did not even phase me.I would have to have a huge dose if my pain was as bad as yours...

Potted my first balls today. Great to be able to play a little. I am still gonna take it easy though. They removed a 35 year old broken bone in my right wrist and fused four others together. Now I won't have the constant pain. I could tell ya if it was going to rain 48 hrs. ahead of time. I could also tell ya when it was going to turn cold 24 hours in advance. The only problem I should have now is getting thru airport security. So what, they already missed their big chance about 200 times. I ain't done nothing like that for a long while, god has always watched over me.
