I feel so dumb, I really do.

I have been saying all along that we need to get kids involvrd in pool, So Jay suggests we donate a box the other day, I knew just the spot, I connected with Smokey and its being sorted out.

Why I never thought of doing this before I dont know, So moving foward when I come into the right boxes at the right time I'm going to make it a point to work with Smokey & company to make sure there are GOOD boxes here in Vegas and are maintained well too. I really feel good about doing this, When I start making $$ again here soon I will be doing one heck of alot more, man we gotta get kids into pool, get cues in their hands and the rest will happen for pool in the long run,

i'm doing my part, Damn I wished I knew about this sooner.

Good idea

Like I said before "They could very well get consumed by a pool table instead of being consumed by the streets."

A few other things I can think of doing would be to get someone like Earl, Archer or Massey to put on an exhibition. The other would be to take a group of em out to a custom cue makers shop
 
You're doing the right thing NOW. Don't worry about "sooner". Spread the love. (love isn't a warm mushy feeling somewhere inside. Love is taking care of the needs of others.)

depending on the audience it doesnt take a player like Earl to impress 99% of the people or kids in this case, A few cool stroke shots on a Barbox and a few other trick shots they would be happy. playing them and beating one bad and letting aother kid win would also work too, just remembering who you beat the last time and letting him win next time would go farther than anything....

I jsut want to do the right thing for the future of pool. For us(players) I have plans in motion for the current state of pool. all in due time-damn economy aint helping either.
