What is a troll? Is it someone who disagrees with the OP?
That's not quite it. If you truly do disagree then that doesn't make you a troll. What makes a troll is someone who purposely says stupid/controversial things with his only goal being to get a rise out of everyone. For some reason they find it amusing to cause other people to get angry and the only reason they says the things that they do is to piss people off and see the reaction knowing that they are out of arms length.
Obviously not. Many threads have people disagreeing with each other in a reasonable fashion with tactful wording. Trolls disrupt threads and say things to incite trouble. They lack tact when they disagree with someone, and give opinions that are no value to a thread (although they somehow think they are).
Disagreeing with someone and giving a reasonable explanation never makes someone a troll. Doing it without proper knowledge, talking out of your butt to be heard, or lacking tact with all disagreable posts makes someone a troll. There are those on here that do this consistently in threads with which they disagree with the OP.

This thread represents a troll thread. It is provocative for the sake of being provocative and yes, I just fed it some too.
It's someone who interjects humor in serious threads.
get over it. sometimes the humor helps lighten the mood so we don't wind up with posters at each other's throats. what about pool can be so serious a joke interjected ruins the discussion? if a little humor bothers you that much it's quite possible you take things (and maybe yourself) a little too seriuosly.
disagreeing is fine. starting the crackheads in pool thread was trolly - i know you didn't start that it was just an example. i think there should be diasagreeing points of view - that's what gives us the ability to discuss. but disagreeing and flat out insulting are two different things

I looked up the definition of a Troll, Roger, and yours wasn't it. I think you just took a cheap shot at me.
What we do here at AZB is all related to the games of Pool, Roger, and games are supposed to be fun. Lighten up.
