Don't miss this "awesome" pool cue

Free case

It has a free case that's why it so expensive.. Intracate ring work...

There ya go, 100% sleeper cue.
Much better than a Bud promo cue and maybe the thing shoots half decent.

As I just looked again at this I realized something, the photography was actually done really well, he showed exactly what a pro cue seller would show. Everything in focus, shows the right details.

OK, which one of you has this thing, fess up.

I can't tell which part of the cue is worse, tip, shaft, rings, finish, wrap, or the points. Could they all be equaly bad?

"Unmarked by the maker", probably did not want to deal with the death threats for calling this thing a "cue".

I will tell you something funny about cues like that, they sell. I used to get them for under $2.00 a cue and would buy them 12 dozen at a time. I would take off in my RV and I could walk in any bar and take a shot at getting say $25.00 for the cue. I would just concoct a story of some kind why I was selling the cue. I would also sell it as a used cue not new. Without fail I would get offers for from $5.00 to 15 or $20 . Since the cues only cost less then $2.00 and I have an unlimited supply I am selling at almost any profit but I would try to get the most they seemed willing to pay. I could easily dump all the cues in maybe a week or so. Small expense for the RV, gas was cheaper back then, I would play a little pool and make a few bucks, plus have a some fun.

It is funny how easy money can be to make. This was at a time when a guy could raise a family on $7.50 an hour I would commonly make 1 or 2 thousand a week just screwing around. I really made a lot of money when the Sneaky Pete's became popular. I used to sell a SP I got from McDermott. They were like $20.00 wholesale and you could easily get $40 or $50 they were really a nice cue. Heck, David Howard played with one at the time the same $20.00 cue. When they stopped making them I found Valley SP's cues. These were really great. They were $7.00 wholesale per cue and you could get $20.00 to say $35.00 in any bar with your eyes closed.

Keep in mind though, bar pool was really big back then. Every town had bars with like 4 to 10 or more tables, they were like little pool rooms, 70's early 80's I am talking about. I doubt you could do it at all today, especially with the internet, ebay ect. It was just a perfect period of time for that sort of thing.

The point of my story is, they guy with the cue on Craigs list probably has a few of them and runs the add all the time. That is why the phone number. If you call him he will probably take anything for the cue as long as it is a profit.

Strange

Was is amazing to me is that the guy took the time to take better photo's of this piece of kindling than most people do of the real cues in AZ's "Wanted for Sale" section.
Even stranger I guess was that I wasted the time to look at all the photos:).
