When you get a box with a cue in it and just a name and address.
(at least they put that much in there)

Can not even call them to ask what it is they want done.
Looked up the name and address on the internet for the phone number but it is disconnected or no longer in service.

I get calls and emails all the time asking if I can do something to a cue.
I always request that if they send something that they include a piece of paper stating what it is they want and their return address / contact information.

If you live in Oak Forrest, Il and sent me a cue please contact me.

Willie,
Maybe it's a anonymous donation to the Willie cue museum.

LOL ...

They sent a return address so I could ship it back to them.
I just wish I knew what they wanted me to do to it.

Hope they see this and contact me.

Willee, you'll know who it belongs to, when in a year they'll start a thread wondering how it can take so long to change a wrap. :)

Willie- Just send it back with a note saying, "Since you said nothing about what you wanted done, it's finished. Nothing was done! Thanks for the business. (or something like that)

Seriously... just drop the owner a letter in the mail, maybe he/she forgot to put it in there or it's coming in another envelope or email perhaps.

I have a customer that is in the military and assigned to a base in Japan. Every 3-4 months I get around 3-5 cues to work on. Most of the time it's to make new shafts, install ivory ferrules and change wraps. Each shaft and butt will have a note wrapped around it with specific details of what he wants done. He gets a price quote, then he gets his discount off of that for repeat business. We also exchange cues from our personal colletion for each other to try out.

LMAO !!!!!!!

That happens to you too ?????

It's too funny I guess they expect my MS. CLEO to be working and I'm supposed to have psychic knowledge of the repair order !

Well, I'm glad to see that I'm not alone with these minor customer oversights !

Just type the address in case the phone isn't in their name

Tried that Mike ... the number was listed but it is out of service ...:sorry:

Looks like I will need to do what Zim said and send them a letter in the morning.
I was kinda hoping they might see this thread and respond.
